My story...
As I was waiting to play golf at a junior tournament, a cart driver backed over me. I held on to the back bumper of the cart until it stopped. Instead of playing in the tournament, I was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. I was lucky that I was not seriously injured.

While riding on the back of a golf cart, a sharp turn threw me off the cart and I hit my head on a cement curb. I spent six weeks in an ICU, three weeks in acute rehab, and six more in outpatient rehab. It’s a miracle that I’m alive.

My grandfather was being driven to the driving range to watch his sons play in a tournament. There was a bag of clubs between him and the driver. When they stopped and got out of the cart, the bag fell onto the gas pedal, causing the cart to speed forward. It hit my grandfather and ran over him. Sadly, he did not survive his injuries.
